Yellow Fever

Yellow Fever
When travelling overseas some countries may require you to have a Yellow Fever vaccination and provide a vaccination certificate to enter and leave a Yellow Fever declared country.
The World Health Organisation has recently recommended that a single dose of yellow fever vaccine provides life-long immunity to the disease.
Norwest General Practice is a fully accredited Yellow Fever vaccination clinic and provides the vaccine and certificate at a cost. This immunisation is not covered by Medicare and the fee is payable to the practice at the time of your consultation.

Once your consultation is complete you will be issued with a Yellow Fever certificate.
When booking your consultation for a Yellow Fever vaccination please advise our friendly receptionist so the appropriate appointment can be made. Generally, this consultation will take 1/2 an hour and is followed by a mandatory 20 minute post immunisation observation period.
