Q Fever Vaccination

Q Fever Vaccination

Individuals at risk of exposure to Q Fever should consider vaccination.

This may include:

Before vaccination, individuals must have blood and skin tests to check if they have been previously exposed to Q Fever.
Testing requires 2-3 visits to the doctor, seven (7) days apart.
Individuals who test positive are immune and don’t receive the vaccine. Individuals who test negative can be safely vaccinated.
